Concealed Weapons Certification
Defense Concepts' Concealed Weapons Certification includes an 8 hour
classroom lecture and a qualification course at the range.
During this course of
instruction, the following topics are covered:
Laws and Ordinances Regarding
the Use of Deadly Force
Legislative Issues
Encountering Law Enforcement
Weapon theory, care, and
maintenance
Safe Handling and Storage of
Firearms
Methods of Carry
Manipulating your handgun
Weapon Manipulation
and Marksmanship
Surviving the Deadly Encounter
State Reciprocity and Recognition
Students
should bring note-taking materials and unloaded weapons to the class.

 Items needed for the range :
Application form
(distributed during class).
Holstered or cased unloaded
handgun
Eye protection
(Shooting glasses or goggles preferred)
Ear protection (ear
muffs or foam plugs, etc.)
*NOTE: Domestic Violence or Felony
convictions will disqualify you from possessing any firearm, therefore, if you
have been convicted of either offense, you may not legally participate in this
course of instruction.
